Light spillover

Have a hang on the back AI hydra and the amount of light spillover into my office is pretty substantial. Anyone have any good ideas for dealing with all the excess light that doesn't stay in the aquarium?

It's a rimless tank so a hood probably isn't a super great option that and my stand is kind of an antiqued looking thing that would be hard to match. Is a hood though the only thing I can really do or does someone have another creative idea?

I have the Hydra 26HD over my rimless Reefer 170 in the living room.
It's also mounted on the back, though I allowed it to have the SLIGHTEST tilt in, which reduces a lot of spill. I'm also running it 10" off the water surface which helps a lot too

I've just come to accept it, unfortunately until I can make a canopy to help reduce the spillage things will just have some extra blue tint to them 😂
