Hello !

I'm wondering which lighting fixture i have to pick for my project ? :reading:
Tank : red sea reefer 170 34gal ( 24' 20' 20' ) corals : a lot of lps ( acanthatrea, scolymia... ) zoanthus and mushrooms corals.

I don't know what to choose between: :wildone:
- ATI sun power 6x24w ( 3 blue plus, 2 coral plus and one purple or actinic )
- Radion xr15 pro

I need yours advices ...

Thanks ! :bounce1:

i have a buddy with a JBJ 30 gallon rimless with similar but smaller dims . He uses the XR 15 pro with mount . We noticed shading with the tank . He has the light programmed but when we did a 14k setting on the fly look, it seemed to cover more area . It has one puck. I am sure it's a hotspot in the middle area . No doubt the ATI SP will let you keep anything . U could contact ATI NA to hear their thoughts on the Sirius x2 Led only unit .
It's in the same price range but is touted for better light spread distribution .
I can't speak german but I have been watching this vid on the Sirius x2 .that is a Aquamedic Cubicus tank . it has similar dims . Only downfall is you have to connect a USB to Windows PC to do custom programming . Ecotech has good support and nice programming via wireless reef link. It's also raises the price of the unit . It then puts it in the 650.00 range .

Since you seem to be interested in high end light fixtures and haven't decided between LED and T5, you may want to look into the hybrid LED/T5 fixtures from Gliessman and ATI. They both look fantastic and give the user complete control, but the prices are breathtaking.
