Hi im new. I have a 75 Gallon tank with live rock, couple of frags of corals ( montis)., GSP, pulsing xenia and some zoanthids. I was just wondering if my lighting schedule is correct. I have a coralife h.o light with actinic and 10k light. It is scheduled for actinics on at 9 a.m 10k on at 10 a.m 10 k off at 8 p.m and actinic off at 9 p.m and moonlights come on at 9 and off at 2 a.m is this too much light? also wondering my window shines in my room during the day will this cause alage break outs?
Parameters are
salinity 1.022
calcium 440
magnesium 1400
ammonia 0
p.h 8.2
Help would be much appreciated Thank you

12 hrs seems a little long IMO, but it is more about when you are able to see your tank. The sunlight from the window can and will cause some algae issues to say the least, only if the sunlight is directly on the tank or sump

Your Salinity is Low.

Most people have 1.022 for a Fish Only Tank.

Most Reef Tanks are 1.025 or 1.026
