Lighting during cipro

My old lighting system I used during cipro no longer works so have to toss it. My gigantea has been looking not so well lately and the only lights I have are 2 36" t5 from a reto fit kit or a par 38 bulb I use to light the fuge.

Would either of these be sufficient for a full treatment or should I go try to find a used light locally?

It depends on how long treatment is for if its just a week it should be fine but I would recommend always keeping them under the full lighting requirements since they really like a lot of light just to be on the safe side none of the parameters from the main tank and the qt tank should differ other than the presence of cipro is something that usually works really well.

I have used daylight florescent or LED bulb light and it work really well. No need to by a reef light for your hospital tank.

My blue gig looked like crap in qt when I had a t5 on him and then I put reef led on and he opened up and his mouth closed tight

For me, quarantine tank and hospital tank are different.
My QT is a full reef tank to keep clams, anemones, corals and fishes in best condition to make sure they don't have any communicable disease before the QT. My hospital tank is a small tank, bare except the very essential PH, Heater and light, use to treat the animal of a known disease. This like in the HT does not need to be fancy. Just enough to be helpful in keep the animal healthy short term, and does not need to be a fancy reef light IMO and IME.
I have a QT system and a bare, dry 20 gal tank for HT if needed

Oh okay sorry didn't make the separation between the hospital and qt tank I usually consider them the same

I recently treated a Mag I was using reef lighting but like Minh said not needed

I've used Kessil and MarsAqua LEDs without issues. The key is to dose the antibiotics after the lights go out so that they can work during the dark period.
