Lighting for a 24x22x22 Refugium?

Wow... That thing has really grown like crazy. I wish I could get chaeto to tumble in my refugium but my design won't allow for it. Instead I'm stuck reaching in and rotating it and spreading it apart. Seeing that makes me want to go back and figure out where I can add another dedicated tank like this for my chaeto.

how long do you have the light on a day?

I have to go back and check my controller settings but I think its around 12 hours.

So an update is in order... the Cheato Death Star seems to have stopped it's gravitational rotation!

Now I'm tempted to just leave it and see if it continues to grow in its static state.

I am getting some green algae growing on the side walls of the tank, though.
Looks like I have a little cleanup to do.

Dude, just look at mine. It has never tumbled and look how it's doing.. Lol, the tumble tumble is massively cool, but with our lights, completely unnecessary. I just think of it as more thing to maintain and let it do it's own thing..

Check out the latest vid.
This is what I have to deal with every 6 weeks or so. LOL!

I use these 2foot T8 led tubes for my algae and they work great, for 4 years now and for my bottom tank. I bought 20 from china and so far the first ones have not failed, so I have lights for quite a few years, lol
