I am wondering if two 55W PC lights would be enough to light a seagraas bed in a 55-gal tank. I am looking at starting a sea grass tank that would be connected to my 150 gal reef.
Perhaps 4 of those 55w PC's or 2 96w PC's might provide for some growth, but just 2 55w PC's will just barely be enough for most sea grasses to just hang in there. A 55 is a fairly deep tank and really needs some strong lighting to penetrate.
