Lighting for frogspawn or Hammer. Is it enough?

yeah the wall hammer is coming around nicely from being bleached bad. The duncans are great especially to watch them grow. I have to go bigger soon though due to the torch when it fully extents and the flow it is coming up and above the ledge afraid chemical warfare might begin if I am not careful. Cant wait going to go to T5 lighting with the 90 and the rock work I am thinking about two island coves connected by the shelf piece with many caves and crevices.
lol sorry i meant stinging each other I know torch can be bad with other lps so dont want to take a chance and let something get stung. Yeah been wanting to upgrade anyway so it works. Just tryingt o think of what lighting i want for the new tank and how much of a change it will be from the pc I have. was thinking t5 but still thinking on that one I know I do not want halides due to heat and I dont want to buy a chiller. so many thoughts and not enough time in the day.

I think T5HO will be the most similar type of light to what you are using now... I didn't know you are using PC? What fixture? You've got great results from it anyway...
I am very happy with my Aquaticlife 4 bulb fixture. It has 2 10k, 2 actinic and 2 led, all on one digital timer, one power cord. I love it. I highly recommend it. I've got some great growth and some pretty decent colors I think.

I would agree you do it is the same it is a 4 bulb 96w each light with led and one cord and digital timer when I first started this tank I was just getting it together to run and ordered it off ebay and it has been amazing. So I am looking to figure what I would like to get I am trying to figure out what size to get for a 90. 4 6 or 8 bulb........so many decisions.
Well I am slowly working on the stand for my 90 gallon and starting to get the new equipment so when I make the transfer it will be easier hopefully all will be done and the 90 will be setup right after christmas.......So far corals are doing nice I lost my monti cap though which kinda stinks. LPS is doing great though duncans making new heads frogspawn splitting and making more heads torch is filling in and GSP getting great extension on it. Hammer coral becoming a very nice purple. Feel like a kid in the candy store waiting on this to get complete.
Everything so far is doing great about 75% done on the stand which is fun since I have to work the day job to keep up with this...lol. But the hammer and frogspawn have grown since the last time I had to do some rearranging since I got some new powerheads in and wanted to try it out. I will try and get some pictures tonight and post them up so everyone can see. Bought a new monti cap since I lost my previous one and I could not pass up the deal the LFS was offering on it. Still trying to figure out the color of the hammer some days it is a purple other days looks almost like a light gold. But it is getting great extension and growth so far everything is which is nice.
Still trying to get a good picture of the gold tint..........on another note things are going good in the tank except I am not able to keep sps I think my montis keep slipping away and not sure why. However I am trying to figure out the next LPS I want to get. I am thinking about a EC but not sure yet I know they like dirtier water so I am thinking it might be good for me with my tank since my water is not pristine which could be why I am not having luck with SPS. Thought on this or other coral would be great.
No I have not tried birdsnest....I might want to look in to them I always thought monti caps were the easiest and they do good for a few weeks and then slowly die. So I am hesitant of trying another. The only reason I started looking in to them is because I am going up to the 90 from the 45 I have now. But I think I might just stick with LPS and softies. So what you think of a EC? I know they are said to be hard but think it would look very nice in a bottom corner of the 90 by itself. Since I think in the 90 I am going to do a two island setup with maybe a shelf connecting. What are your guys thoughts if any.
