Coral Killer
Chris,
The tank and inhabitants are looking good. I love the Kole Tang ... that is one that I would like to add as well someday.
I upgraded my lighting already to 2- 24" VHO's and 2-250 DE MH's. I want to grow more stoney corals and the single 250 did not cut it.
I also had my first "accident" last Friday. A snail crawled into my Durso pipe and clogged the outflow to the basement. I was in VA for business and the hubby found the mess just shorly after it started to overflow in the family room. I lost about 30 gallons on the carpet and it then flowed down to the basement fish room. No casualties occurred ... I'm darn lucky and I need to get a basket on that pipe ASAP.
I also still have some noise from the overflow and I am tempted to break out the saw and drill to create a pipe like yours. I ordered the Durso and it did reduce the noise, but the hubby still disapproves. Is your tank really quiet? I might have to call you and listen over the phone to believe it.
