Quick overview, I have 3 ranginging from a 24"-6" in my 30 long with one 250 watt MH (old bulb). They have been doing good but have recently transfered them to a 75 and was wondering if anyone is having success with them under T-5s. I would perfer to run T-5s and need to know if its worth the investment getting the fixture or just keep the MH and add a second one with new bulbs.

Thanks
Ian

I guess Ill order the lights and see. I can always change back if need be I guess and have an extra T-5 fixture for another tank.

Still would like to hear about others success with crispas and T-5s though.

i had mine under a 24" tek light, it is now under a 150 hqi after a tank upgrade. t5 always worked great for me . tanks where only about 12" high so the anemone was about 16" from the light.

My crispa liked strong light, stronger the better it seemed.
Shallow like silver said may be Ok w/ T5's

my current sebae which i think to be H.malu, is under 4x54w t5's/indv. reflectors on sand of a 18" deep tank/~3"-4" dsb.
my last H. crispa sebae was in the same tank when i was using 6x32w 48" zoomed t8's and it went from a 3.5" bleached sebae to a healthy colored ~15" sebae anemone before trading it in for a rbta. so yes go for it.
