Thats kool. We are in the same boat, the unknown, Piranha. Have u seen anything about the ballast not being the same i cant find it anywhere. If they are not Piranha we will save some major bucks. We can pick them up at lowes or home depot and make our own shields ya know. please I need peoples plethora of knowledge. Thanks REM..

The ballasts are pretty much the same. You want to match the ballasts and lamps properly. That is the most important thing.

ive read there is two differnt type and electronic is the way to go if i remember right.

You will find electronic and magnetic ballasts. Each type has pros and cons. it really comes down to the lamp you use.
