lighting question?

ok so ive had a 5-6inch derasa for a while now under 260 wtt pc 50/50 10k actinic. ive always heard that derasa and squamosas should do ok under my light is this true? and also are there other clams icou ld squeeze in?

You will get a whole of opinions on this one Nate. Here is mine:
I think it is a little on the low end but it is possible. I would really keep those bulbs changed out frequently and keep the clams higher up.
You may be able to try a maxima but I don't think I would try a crocea.

You would probably be ok for a derasa, but as said above, it's on the low side. Squamosa, maybe.

No way from me on a maxima or crocea though. They rarely survive long term under similar lighting conditions. Everytime I've seen someone try one they didn't last.
