Lighting suggestions for a 5.5g pico.

T-5? PC? Is a 70w MH overkill?

I need a retrofit kit because the lights willbe mounted into a custom wood canopy with dual fans.

All suggestions welcome.

70 MH is way overkill, imo.
besides that, i think pc should be absolutely fine

I appreciate the advice. But my custom 5.5 is only 12"x12" and the shortest PC in the link you posted is 15". Do you know if anyone makes a retrofit kit that will fit a 12" canopy?

Where can I get some and how many would I need for a 12"x12" canopy over a 5.5g tank? I'm not an electrical engineer so I would need something I can plug in out of the box.
