I dont know, but Aqua Medic also has a 16,000K that they just dont sell in the states.
I think we as hobbyist should put the ownus on the manufacturer and sellers to provide data that validates thier marketing claims.

Maybe I'm a little slow but, I just noticed that JBJ is making halide bulbs (JBJ K-1). When did this start? I haven't heard anything about their performance.

I keep soft corals so I am not sure if I really need the best par possible .The 250W lamp (blueline10K+) only comes in at 33 ppfd so I assume the 175W is even less. I realy love the look of this lamp but want a better lamp for the corals health.
