Lineatus Wrasse

I added a beautiful male lineatus wrasse to my tank a week ago and he only comes out to eat, but he does eat well. Is this normal, he is such a nice fish that I don't get to see.

What other fish do you have with it? They are very timid when first introduced. I wouldn't get too stressed especially if he is coming out to eat. If you dont have any aggressive fish he should start coming out more now.

I had a sub adult lineatus that only came out to eat a little bit of food each day for close t two weeks. Just a total scardy cat...then I came home one day and he was out and about as if it was no big thing.

agree with everyone else..but like bradleyj asked ..would like to know what other fish you are keeping with him...they can hide alot for they first couple of weeks but if it is eating i would not worry to much

I'm getting a super male tomorrow morning... Good online source... My original one died in a tank move last year...

I have a large male. He has been in the tank for two years. I have found at times he will rule the tank and then dissapear for a few days. Then he returns.

CAUTION - They are great jumpers.
