Lion wont eat help! :(

i bought a dwarf zebra and i cant get him to eat...the lfs put a ghost shrimp in the tank right before i bought him so i could see him eat but now that hes at my house he wont eat anything... ive tried ghost shrimp and little guppies and he just sits there...im running out of ideas...do you think hes just not hungry??i mean the ghost shrimp literally walked right up to his mouth and he didnt do a thing!!!

I'd give it another few days before worrying. It's not unusual for a fish to take few days to week before eating after being transferred. Once he settles in and gets comfortable he should start eating, especially if your offering live feeder shrimp

i agree they sometimes go on hunger stikes. took my volitan about 5 days with ghost shrimp and krill and now he eats anything i put for the others

so i tried feeding him tonight...no luck, he was definatly active but he just didnt act like he noticed the ghost shrimp maybe i will give it a couple more days...how long can they go without eating???

They can go up to two weeks.

so i finally got him to eat today!!!!took 5 days but he ate and thats good!!i was starting to get worried but he went right after the ghost shrimp when i put it in!!!hopefully he keeps on eating!!
