Live Rock For Sale

I have approximately 100 lbs of live rock that I am selling. A little less than half of it has been in my tank for about 1 year. It has good coraline on it. The rest came from another setup I recently purchased. It has been in my tank for more than a month. I was biologically alive when I got it, but it still has little to no coraline on it.

Hidden somewhere in the rock is either a pistol or mantis shrimp. It came with the original rock that I have had for about a year. In all that time, I haven't seen the shrimp to be able to ID it, but you can definitely hear it at night. I haven't lost any fish, but I have had some snails dissappear. It will be up to you to either keep or rid the rock of this guy. I just didn't want anyone to get an unexpected surprise.

Most of the rock is very porous with lots of holes and interesting shapes. There is a pretty neat branch piece too.

I am not exactly sure about the weight of the rock, but I think it is around 100lbs. I am hoping to get $250 for all of it.

I posted a couple of pictures of the rock, taken today, in my gallery. There are a few pieces in my sump that are not shown in the pictures.

PM me if you are interested, or if you have other questions, or would like more detailed pictures.

Thanks,
Tom

I would like the branch piece for my seahorses . If you can sell me just that, please let me know, Thanks, Carrie

Carrie,

I really want to sell it all together. If noone is interested after a week or so, I will PM you about that piece by itself.

Thanks,
Tom

Dan,
You and another person that PM'd me were both wanting to get an idea of the size of the rock. I moved a few of the fish from my old tank to the new tank this morning. I had to take most of the rock out to catch the fish. While it was out of the tank, I snapped a few more pictures and posted them in my gallery.
I hope this helps.

Thanks,
Tom

Tom, that was a great help. Thanks for taking the time to do that for us. I'm sure someone in here will snatch that stuff up from you. Some of those pieces look like Marshall Island rock which is premo stuff. I've got all the rock I need for my 150 but if I stumbled across some huge pieces I would get them and sell some of my smaller ones. Thanks again, Dan

UGH!! Just spent $1400 on my new camera....otheriwse I would have bought it all......let me know if you part it out or have any left over from a sale...

I will buy a few lbs also if you part out. Maybe a few of us can buy it and split it between ourselves. I need smaller pieces and flat pieces

Also interested in a few pounds if parted.

Wife's Tank is a little bare and my 75G could use some more as well. :)

Not to hijack this thread, but man, I wish I had $700 to buy a decent cam to take pictures of my tank. LOL
