live rock help

I took out 2 pieces of 5# each live rock to kill of huge bristle worms. Can I add this dead rock to a well established 75 gallon . The rock has been out of water for about 2 weeks.

That sounds like a good idea so you do not get a large spike from die off . Just keep an eye on water perameters.Happy Reefing!!!

You could also put it in a 5 gallon bucket with some water from a water change and let it go through a cycle before adding it too tank. Shouldn't take too long if it didn't have much algae on it.
