Live Rock With A Crooked Smile

For the longest, I've been using this little chunk of rock to prop up corals. But I'd always notice things shifted out of place. I suspected turbo snails. After closer observation, I noticed this rock has a mouth, a crooked smile, and it's sensitive to light. Is this a small oyster or bi-valve?

I have a couple of these in my cube tank and I have never really gotten and ID on them. Mine are small and kind of hidden so I could never get a picture of them.

Fun pic! I think it's some form of bivalve......but I have no expertise to give you any specifics. I have a couple in my tank too.
Maybe post in the invert forum as well to see if you can get more info?

I have something similar, if you get an ID I'd love to know what it is. Mine seems to have an 'in' and an 'out' tube (siphon?), much like a clam, whereas yours looks more like a scallop with those little tentacles. Amazing what we find on our LR, isn't it?

It kind of freaked me out a little at first. But he doesn't go anywhere, isn't demanding, and always has this perpetual smile. I think I'll keep him ...whatever it is.
