Ordered a sailfin tang from them this past weekend. The picture shown was a nice looking fish. Received the fish today and it was quite evident this fish hasnt eaten in weeks. divers den listed all their fish as eating well, but there was no way this sailfin ate at all. the belly was sucked in and doubt it will survive past the next 2 days. ordered from live aquaria many times, and this was the first fish from divers den. not a happy customer.

Not discrediting your experience, but I've ordered almost all my fish fro DD and have found them to be really good. I trust them more than almost any other online vendor.

We are talking about livestock at the end of the day, there's bound to be a bad experience at some point.

I would just wait and see how the sailfin does, they always are good to honor there arrive alive stay alive guarantee if it doesn't work out.

I have ordered 90% of mine from DD as well over the past 10+ years I'd say. I've only once got a fish that I ordered from DD and it clearly wasn't. It was a chevron tang. They credited me immediately and I didn't even want a full refund since he was eating and seemed healthy. Had lat line disease bad.

7 years later he's still alive and a full grown adult.

Did you get ahold of them? Send them some photos and the photos of the fish they posted on DD and ask them if they sent the correct one. They have great service, I've never been let down.

Feed algae
All the tangs i buy have a slight indented stomach i think its for purging because tangs usually eat well
I feed nori and they are as healthy as can be

My powder brown came from LA. Not DD but the same company. My shipment was delayed and I was not very happy to see a fish upside down in the bag. A little do dillagence on my part and I have a very happy healthy powder brown tang in my display.
I even went as far as putting it directly into TTM right out of the bag.
Been almost a year now and we are both very happy. I have come to love this fish!!
