Living my 75G SPS Dream Tank - Monthly Pics

Nice tank - Congrats! Can you take a FTS (including the light fixture)?

You can disregard the request above. I found this picture from your original build thread:

It looks nice but after looking at the before and after pictures it appears that your Sps are bleaching out. Try feeding them or upping the nutrient import.

Bump. How is the tank and SPS doing now?

Hi,
Thanks for asking. I will take some pictures and post soon.

Yes, I definitely had some nutrient issues. I believe I have finally dealt with that though. I have a few corals that have excellent corals and then a couple that are coming back very slowly. I have good growth as well. Thanks.

I had one before the crash. Haven't really updated it since. Just now beginning to look at fish and coral again.

Hi,
Well, sorry for the delay but I have been pretty busy. Anyway, here are some updated pictures. I keep working on finding the corals that do best in my tank. Some do and some don't. One thing I have noticed is a bit more algae in my tank. So I tested my PO4 and it is finally up to about 0.05 so I have started running a very small amount of GFO to maybe bring it down to .03 or so. Thanks for looking...

FTS - I don't have my cover on right now that blocks the view into the overflow.

Looks good my only advice would be to cut those ora plugs so that your acros can put a bigger base down and in turn you'll have more branches shoot up to make it a fuller colony. You can use a dremel or bandsaw

Thanks,
Yes, I can't stand those ORA plugs. And they are very hard to cut. The shop where I buy the ORA corals cut some plugs for me once and it about wore out the ban saw blade. If you look at the purple plasma above, that coral was on an ORA plug and it actually broke at the base so I glued it on to a flat plug and you can see how well that coral is doing. This photo was not long after I mounted it and then the one above is current. That is about 10 months of growth.

I may break off the others though because if I want to move them currently it is a pain because I need a hole to mount them in. Thanks again.
