Local HOT PINK YUMAS

LOL, actually I have lots of pink ricordeas, no pink yumas though.

Also, if you really want to part with it, I would suggest ebay. That way you will for sure know what the market will bear as the bidders are setting the price. The wholesaler I saw the one at was doing the same thing just not on ebay. Sold it to whatever store would give it the most.

For what it is worth, I hope you do get what you are asking lion, My comments were based on the fact that i got one for free from one of the reefers in this group..It is only a bud right now but i hope one day it grows up big and strong like yours...I guess my comments were more surprise than anythig else that that is what the market was on those..since I got one for free and didn;t have the foggiest thats what people were selling them for..Guess i need to send and extra thank you note to that reefer...Bahh with all the other drivel...

Very different from yours, but just as nice if you ask me...

600... good lord thats alot of money!

how bout i give you a clump of aptsia 2 broken 10g a dead frag and $6

lol good for him

Oh hey, _I_ didn't buy it! Are you kidding me? Someone posted the link to the auction on the Bay Area Reef club forum (and a link back to here).

Hey let's face it, things are "worth" what people are willing to buy them for. And for my money, I'd rather spend $325 on a frag of this Yuma that might grow and split ... versus $64,000 for a freaking grilled cheese sandwich that some woman thinks has an image of the Virgin Mary on it! Sheesh! Sixty Four freaking thousand dollars for a 10 year old sammich! Amazing what people will buy!

Instead, I paid my $20 club dues for the Bay Area Reefers club and enjoy the frag trades .... (OK, so everything is brown and common, but it's fun anyway!)

MMMM...Grilled Cheese....LOL...Hey Vince, there are tons of us that love frag trading so if you Bay area fellas ever get a hankerin' for some northeast corals drop us a line and maybe we can set up a club frag swap...

PS I think I used some of your advice back in the day when I was building my CA reactor from DJ88's design...

great just like the reptile industry.
some guy gets a ball python with a tiny change in color, often aberant, whips out some new color phase and all of a sudden it is a new morph and he has the nerve to ask 10-100 times the normal price.

America....love it or leave it :)

Ever seen a stamp or a coin (there is a "state quarter") with a flaw in it? Makes a 37 cent stamp worth $1000. !!

Nobody wants "common" things. Imagine if coralline was brown...shoot, purple coralline would cost $10 a spore! Instead we pay nothing for it!

I'm actually surprised that those fantastically coloured mantis shrimp aren't in higher demand! OK, they kill all your fish then kill you in your sleep, but they shore is purty!

Shoot, build a car, slap on a "Eddie Bauer Edition" or "SVT" or "Type-R" sticker on it and make yourself an extra $5000.

I asked my fancy gay friend why he pays $200 for "Paul Smith" jeans when I pay $30 for my Levis;

me: Why are those jeans so expensive?
him: These are PAUL SMITH jeans, not Costo Irregulars like you wear.
me: So what's the big deal with Paul Smith jeans?
him: They're expensive.
me: Uh ... I see where this is going...

;)

I haven't checked out the link but Lionfan, freaking good for you! That's so awesome I am grinning ear to ear. I couldn't think of a better way to tell people to shove it!

Now, onto my fee for suggesting ebay. I think it's only fair I get 10%. ;)
