Hello, I am planing on installing 3 new Lumenbrite Reflectors (400w) on my 180(6"x2"x2"). My question is what ballast to get? I was planing on either Icecap or Coralvue, dimmable. Also do you have to use a Reeflux bulb for dimmability? Galaxy Has a better warr. but I dont know of there performance. Also I would love to see pics or tanks w/this set-up. I recently saw Cagri's 400s w/coralvues (AWSOME) but I would realy like to see a dimmable ballast in action! Thanks again!!!

No you do not have to use reeflux bulb for dimmability. Only the ballast has to be dimmable as far as I know. Corelvue ballasts come in dimmable versions, I am not sure if Galaxy has dimmable option. I also have no idea on how much dimmable ballasts affect bulb life. If you follow the big lumenbright thread on reef central there are couple of people on there with dimmable coralvue ballasts, maybe they can give you more info.
