Lone flasher wrasse?

I have a 29 gal tank with 20gal refugium sump. Inhabitants are a firefish, tail spot blenny, scooter blenny and watchman goby. I want to add a single flasher wrasse...I don't feel i have room for a trio...will he be content to live alone?
I guess there is a good argument to keep two males of different, small species, but I am concerned about overloading the tank...there is plenty of water volume, but the display is only 29 gal...lots of rock and caves...

I've had plenty of single flasher wrasse. In my opinion I believe they do better by themselves in a smaller tank.

Some of my favorites are a Paracheilinus mccoskeri or Paracheilinus octotaenia.

Also for the Paracheilinus octotaenia you could purchase a female and watch it switch.

Good luck.

Thank you very much...I'm concerned because I have watched videos of some of the wrasses flashing, and they do look confined in a cube - it just doesn't seem like enough swimming room...Do you think that those recommended for a 30 gal (such as Paracheilinus lineopunctatus, cyaneus and flavianalis) are exceptions and don't swim/flash in the same way? I don't want to stress them with confinement...Also, I'm concerned that Paracheilinus mccoskeri is recommended for a 50 gal...
