Long purple polyps on green sps?

Hi I have this SPS internist given, not sure what it is but that is another issue entirely.

There are these long dark colored stringy polyps and they seem to be spreading, it's been a week and they haven't fallen off, and they retract like normal polyps. What are these?

I don't see anything unusual. You say the coral is new to you? It looks like it was previously in poor conditions and the different colored polyps where the coral may be starting to recover.

It looks like a very bleached out Stylophora, but I cannot really tell.

It needs stable parameters and high light.

Are you sure that the stringy stuff is not the slime coat coming off - if so, this is not usually good.
