So I bought a nice Lta.at Lfs. Brought it home. And put it in the tank about an hour after acclimating It. It kind of just wants to roll around and not seem to latch on to anything. Should I try to embed his foot in the gravel or stuff him in a crevice or just leave alone and let the flow do its thing.

LTAs prefer to have their foot buried in the sandbed. How deep is yours?

What color is the LTA?

What lights was it under and what lights do you have?

It sometimes helps to dig a little hole in the sandbed and place them there, and might want to think about turning off some powerheads until it settles in.

I have 2 Uri VHO Actinic and White light.
I have crushed coral bottom about 2inches.
He is dark tan color.
I beleave the lights he was under were just standard flouresent actinic and white.
My water flow is about a medium flow 1 maxi 1200, my skimmer out put witch is a maxi 1200 and my filter out put witch is around 600gpm My tank is a 90 gallon.

I have never used VHOs, what wattage are the 48 inchers?

How big is the LTA? The bigger they are, the deeper the sandbed should be.

How did its foot look? Any damage to it?

Also, what are your parameters, with numbers, including salinity/SG.

well The parameters are
Ammonia 0
nitrite 0
nitrate less than 10
Sg 1.024

The foot looked fine no tears or scrapes.
