Long term survivability for long tentacle plates?

Sorry I don't know the scientific name for them. My LFS has one that looks quite amazing. Purple and green, and it doesn't "appear" to be a dye job. But I have bought corals before that I found out later were a lost cause in the aquarium hobby. (Carnation tree, etc.) Do these corals have a decent shot of living in our tanks?

Heliofungia. Lost cause. For every one you see that isn't dead yet, hundreds have died in store and home tanks.

If you buy 100 of them, could you eventually find one that lived for a decent amount of time? Probably. Are there better animals for you to buy? Many.

Oh, and they don't need to be dyed. Thay are just real good looking animals. Then they die.

S !
