Long time customer no more

I have been ordering from Marine Depot for many years and have been happy till now, i had pre-ordered the Vortec MP10 pump from them and know it would be a while till i would get it. for the last months i have been calling to find out when it will be sent out. i understand that time tables change in this world. Everytime i call to get a date i got a new date, its not the fact that it was a different date its the fact that every time they would make it sound like thay would never say it. in this would your credibility is everything, and the lack of trust was broken when i was told today my pump would be sent out, being told this on Wednesday of last week, calling today i was told they have to even got the pumps. This will be my last order form Marine Depot.

Thank you for the feedback, I apologize for the inconvenience you have experienced. Our Purchasing Team makes a great effort to get the most current information from our vendors to our Customer Service Representatives. Unfortunately there are times that our vendors are also either out of stock or decide to delay the release of a new item which will delay the estimated arrival date to our warehouse. Our Customer Service Team works very hard to get any available information regarding any pre-orders, any dates that are provided to you is estimated and is not guaranteed. Again I apologize if you received any conflicting information.

Directly from the Ecotech forumon this site they state that they shipped out the MP10 units on June 26th! What is the delay?
 
June 26th shipped probaly 2-3 days toget to Marine depot then put it into inventory and get ready to ship to customers that pre ordered. It does take a little time to do all of this. Not trying to stir up trouble but give them a chance.

Thank you for your responses, I apologize for the delay, as the MP-10’s are on a pre- order status we do not charge you for the pre-order until the item has been received at our facility and shipped to you. If you wish to cancel a pre-ordered item please contact our customer services center at 1.800.566.3474 to cancel your pre-ordered item.

We had ordered 96 and have received 18 from Ecotech with an additional 18 more on the way; that should arrive to our facility by the end of the week; we are also currently awaiting more MP-10’s from Ecotech. We will have everything we ordered including any customer pre-orders by the end of the month. Our Purchasing Team makes a great effort to get the most current information from our vendors to our Customer Service Representatives. Unfortunately there are times that our vendors are unable to meet the unexpected demands. Again we apologize for the delay
