Longnose Butterflies & Echinoderms?

I've read that they will "mutilate" urchins by picking their tube feet, but will the same apply to other echinoderms (stars, cucumbers etc.)? Also, will keeping one well feed deter him from killing my urchins (which I would swap out if I thought they would be threatened)? Thanks

I have kept a variety of echinoderms, various urchins, cucumbers, and stars, with longnose butterflies and never had an issue with them bothering any of them. In all cases the butterlies were well fed though.

Never had that problem with CBB, or margined butterfly.

Did have a cheeky Big Longnose (F. longirostris) who was interested in a collector urchin's tube feet. YMMV.
