Why in the world would you go from metal halide to pc?!

I have the same thing happen to me... when I got my orange ric.. the bulbs were smaller and so it show orange and blue underneath the bulbs... now it's alot happier so the bulbs are bigger and the blue sub skin aren't showing anymore.

I thought I was going to get my ATO in order, but time kept passing and I never got it. I started having problems keeping my salinity stable and it was affecting my corals.

So I decided to got back to pc's until I get my ATO.

Did you get that from Extreme Corals? I remember seeing a few on their site one day. I believe they were bleached.

I think the problem here is the term "bleached". People tend to think of a coral that is white and almost void of color when we say bleached. No matter what we call it the fact is that the shroom in the first pic had lost some of its algae. In the second pic it had recovered. It is much healthier now.
