looking for a larger calcium reactor

I have a nano calcium reactor. Once I replace it with something larger it will go up for sale.

Whatcha got out there?

All I really need is the reaction chamber(s)... I have CO2 tank, and everything else.
 
Not really sure how large yours is I have two ones a koralin 1502 I believe its rated to 400 gallons and I also have this monster one I think its a precision marine. Dual chamber i think its rated to 700 havent touched them in a long time need to check condition
 
The koralin looks perfect the other one needs a fitting replaced and part of the flange is cracked but a fast epoxy and its done. How large is the container?
 
Refresh my memory. Are you using 2 part with dosers? I know you top off with kalk.

Ca reactor is main source, correct?

I manually dose 2 parts. Topoff with kalk and run a calcium reactor. Coral growth is obvious right now as the whole "reef" is getting larger. Very kewl. I can't really say I've seen this before. I think a larger calcium reactor will help alleviate some of the demand.
Dosing 2 part is still the biggest PITA of all the methods IMO, but then again... I haven't automated it. Still, who like mixing the stuff up? I go through it pretty quickly!

You ought to see my bucket of calcium hydroxide from BRS! :lolspin:
 
What about adding some dosers?

I was tempted to offer up my GEO 6x24, but I'm hanging on to it. If my theory is correct, I won't ever use it again. However, as I'm generally wrong, (according to my wife, always wrong, even when I'm right), I'm gonna hang onto it for now. Mixing the 2 part really is a snap. The dosers are cheap compared to the cost of a reactor.

I think getting CO2 filled is a HUGE hassle. Much easier to point and click on the BRS website than it is to drive to the other side of the city to the welding supply shop.
 
Hey Gary sorry wasnt around this weekend much I do still have both of them but I never heard back after I sent the pics so I assumed you werent into them
