Looking for a Tri-color tang?!

Does anyone know of a LFS or hobbyist that is selling a tri-color tang? I live in Toronto but am willing to make a drive aslong as reasonable.

I have a feeling the OP is talking about a color morph. If I'm right, it's like the yellow tang in David Saxby's tank...

Just google Zebrasoma Tricolor. It's an abberant or hybrid tang.

If that's what the OP is talking about, LA Diver's Den has abberants every once in a while.

Been looking for one myself for the longest time. I think you have to be in the right place at the right time to get one of these. hybrids are rear.

There's a LFS here that had one of these in the other day - called it a "calico purple tang". They wanted $130 for it and it was a good size animal, but I've never seen a fish's gills move so fast in my life as it lay on it's side on the bottom. This LFS is so bad, that their own employees placed bets as to how long the fish would last...

In Toronto you might be able to special order one from Reef Raft, ORG or SeaUMarine. Those would be your best bet in the GTA. Reef raft has a Hybrid Pbt X White cheek right now if it hasn't sold yet.

I love these variations, but as far as I know they revert back to normal colorations in captivity.

They are pricey, I was offered one last year for 1500. I couldn't see spending that kind of money on a YT that most people say lose their color and revert back to the regular yellow.
