I am still new to reef tanks and getting started slow. I have 2 black clowns, live rock, snails and hermits. I am looking for a anemone for the black clowns. Anyone have one for sale?

I have a Bubble tip I am looking to get rid of cheap
look at my thread
its the frags for sale all 5 or 10 bucks one

I have a 40 breeder tank. I think there is enough room

That's certainly not the only variable in deciding whether or not you can keep a 'nem healthy.

I'm not trying to tell you anything other than you should make an informed decision.

How long has your tank been running?

I have black and white clowns that host nearly every coral other than my RBTA. They host GSP a lot, but also host things that I wouldn't expect like my orange monti cap and candy cane coral.

Good luck. It may take a while for them to get into the new Nem, but I think that the way that my clowns interact with live corals is one of the most interesting things to watch in a reef system.

Good luck with your new pet :)
It'll probably act a little funny the first few days while it acclimates. I remember I was up half the night watching my first one worried it was dying - then I thought it was eating my clown :) :)
Let us know if/when the clowns decide to move in!

if anyone is looking for good information on anemone husbandry it can be found in the anemone FAQ located at the top of Reef Central's 'Clownfish and Anemone' Forum.

Although a bulb tip is a good choice for a beginner's host anemone I wouldn't expect any ocellaris to immediately adopt a BTA.... it might take some time.

Thats my nem

Well needless to say the anemone is dead I think. Its looks pretty flat and is spewing long strands of white stuff.
