Looking for older Coral Magazine issues

Hi everyone,
I am trying to complete my physical collection of Coral Magazine and I am still missing a few older issues. I figured I would ask here in case anyone has extra copies or duplicates.

The issues I am looking for are:
  • Volume 1, Issue 2 (Apr/May 2004)
  • Captura de tela 2026-02-04 191758.png
  • Volume 3, Issue 1 (Feb/Mar 2006)
  • Captura de tela 2026-02-04 191727.png
If you have any of these and are open to selling or trading, please let me know.

Thanks

Good luck. I was a subscriber to FAMA and MFM back in the day. When we moved to our current house (some 20 years ago) I got rid of them all. I've since come to regret doing so.

Thanks! And I know exactly what you mean. I’ve heard that regret story from quite a few longtime hobbyists. Those old magazines really captured a special moment in the hobby.

Many years ago I was missing two also. I found both issues in Australia but the store would not ship them to me. Lucky for me I have a cousin with friends down under, she purchased them and sent them to me. I do have the full set except the one they never made.

I bought that nanos edition in 04 wish I had it as well!

Hey have you reached out to Matt Pedersen (spelling/pretty sure) he's the editor, doesn't the website reef2rainforest have back issues available? I'd be amazed if they cannot get them for you Emmanuel

Hey did u see this issue:

Maritza the vase reef is still alive, I texted them yesterday. Coral mag is my fav

Thanks a lot for sharing that, really appreciate it. Stories like these definitely give me hope.

I did try reaching out to Reef2Rainforest. The old forum is no longer active, and now there’s a dedicated Coral Magazine website, but unfortunately those older back issues seem to be long gone. At this point it’s really down to patience, persistence, and a bit of luck.

And yes, that Micro Reefs / Organ Pipe Corals issue you mentioned is a great one. Those reef bowls are fascinating, especially seeing how well some of them have held up over the years. It’s amazing how much inspiration is still packed into those old issues.

Thanks again for the tips and encouragement.

I still have many years of FAMA and MFM, all in their ‘official’ binders! Have to pull them out of the closet, to check the years and conditions!
