Looking for Plastic Needle Valve

I don't like it set up this way (with the aqualifter). You would think it would be easy to get a consistant drip rate with it being somewhat pressurized but it isn't.

I think I know why. The aqualifter is a diaphragm pump so the pressure changes ever so slightly with each pump. When you are looking at about a drop per second, this shows.

It was better feeding the reactor with just a siphon alone (valve before the reactor).

I think I'm changing it back tomorrow. I can still use the little filter cup and have filtered water enter the reactor using just the siphon.

Or maybe I'll try the other little mini pump I just bought first. That might work better than the aqualifter.

didnt you read my post chuck, the aqualifter sucks! tie it off your return or some other little pump, and it will be 10x better.

Yes, I read it but ReefWreak used it an loved it as well.

If I don't find another use for it - I'll sell it.

I like the idea of the other pump over the aqualifter as well because it's a submersible. There will be two less connections that could have caused a flood if something were to come loose. I've had my share of floods already.
