Looking for RBTA

Anyone out there have an RBTA? I have a pair of oci's that need a new home, thier toadstool leather broke off and they can't figure out to "Swim down! Swim down!" Ok that was just plain wrong...LMK if anyone has one that has split, or just needs to make room. Thanks.

Thanks but not willing to pay 1.3 million for an anemone. I would rather find a homegrown split. I was at SC last week and saw them, they were tempting but I was there for the lights. The RBTA there cost 1/3 the price of the lights. The lights won.

Ben I may just take you up on that, but the RBTA may be worth waiting for. You know i've been drooling all over yours for a couple of years now:)

I forget exactly but it was enough to make me cringe...nothing against the critter, all LFS ask very high prices for them That I've seen), they must be hard to catch hehehe. Actually I think they were cheaper there than other places I've seen them at. Aquarium expenditure had them for well over $100 bucks several times (I think closer to $200). With the way they grow and split in a heathy tank I can't see why they are so pricey (except for popularity and beauty).

how much were the RBTA'S at salty?

There were several really nice colored ones there. He had them for $150 and with the sale that was going on I really considered buying one but just didn't want to drop the $120 it would've cost me at the time.

Yeah I'm hoping to pick one up at the c-sea frag swap on march for a much better price.

My buddy got a pretty big one from the columbus swap recently for like 60 bucks. not bad.

Did it live? I was reading where people who took those home weren't having real good luck with them. I looked at them myself, but resisted the temptation do to current room constraints in the tank.

I asked the guy at the swap meet and all those were recently harvested, not splits from existing aquarium stock.

Funky I talked to my buddy last night and he said his is actually doing great! And his tank is fairly new too, less than 6 months.
