I came home to see my powder blue glued to the side of my koralia. Dunno how long he had been dead but water is fine. My fiance dont know her fish is gone so I need a replacement to stay out of the doghouse. Anyone have one or know where the best lfs deal is? I cant really go to far from WPB unless the deal is just right. Thanks!

Sorry to hear this. I thought I was saving him from a life of torment from my achilles. I assume this is the guy you got from me.

Any ideas what happened? Had he been acting funny lately or anything?

No he was great. eating outta my hand. The best fish I had in there. came home from work and i guess he was hanging out next to the koralia 4. I didn't thing those had that much suction. I have since discontinued use of the koralia. But never had that happen before. anyone ever heard of fish getting stuck to stuff like that?

When I had a small regal/hippo/blue tang, 1.5" or so, when he wasn't doing well (i.e. one foot in the grave) he was pulled up against the korallia. I don't think that it had anything to do with his death though. I think that it's because they just get sucked in when they're too weak to swim. If you had a closed loop, they would just get sucked into the intakes or just flutter around the water.... Sad occasion. Sorry to hear about both of your's fish.

I had a similar5 thing happen, I had a fox get stuck to the suction of the filter, by the time I got home he was on his way out. RIP.

I happened to be at barrier reef yesterday and they had 2 powder blues. They looked in good health but had only been there since Thursday. I would not normally advocate buying a fish there, I think there livestock health has dramatically declined, but these guys looked fine.

was at coral reef farm and they had some nice small ones 1.5"-2"
and they can get you pretty much anything you want at a great price.:bum:
