Looking for some fellow reefers in DFW area.

I am new to reefging anf currently setting up my 150. Just would be nice to have soeone close to chat with if i have issues and bounce ideas off of. I know there is a DFWmas but i dont hink its cool to have to pay for a membership when there should be site sponsors.

I don't know what you are talking about. It is free to talk with DFWMAS members on our forum here on RC or on dfwmas.org

If you want to be a member of our club, we have annual dues. That's your choice.

If you have questions, ask away.

That's not true at all. There are a few extra forums for paying club members, but the majority of the forums are there for anyone. What forum did you want to post in that you felt left out of specifically? Here's the list so you can see them all.

There is also DallasMas.Org. So, you have two clubs. Both of which, if you want to be a paid member and enjoy the benefits, then there is a small fee. However, it's not possible for a site to run just on sponsorships. They have to pay for the website, events, and etc. Now, you can ask all the questions you want and etc., but for a lot of the stuff on the sites .. you don't have to pay to be a member.

Melev (Marc) has a great point. Lots you can do on both forums and don't have to pay for it.

The yearly dues are cheap. You will get them back with the discounts that are offered to members at LFS. Along with all the other stuff that the club offers. (frag swaps,meetings, ETC).

Depending on the LFS you use, you will get your dues back in a matter of minutes based on discounts. I know I did on just a couple fish purchases. Come on over as a guest.....
