Hello all,
we ordered the cad lights 39g that should be showing up soon and we need some sand to go into it, we had bare bottom w/ cutting board for the last few years and there was a bunch of crud under the board when we tore down the 50g so we are just going to go back to a dsb
We are looking for a bag of southdown (or oldcastle or whatever it is called nowadays) or something comparable, doesn't need to be live sand because we have rock we can seed it with and we would rather not pay $25 a bag that they charge at the fish stores... we went to home depot because that is where we picked up a bunch of bags of southdown when we last had a sand bed but the help wasn't very helpful, they pretty much told us that they didnt think play sand was a good idea for a tank and they wouldn't go look for us
If anybody has an extra 50lbs to sell that would be awesome, we are looking for about 0.778 cubic feet of sand (if i did my math correctly)
