Myself? I have some Allen's (neon) damsels. Bright blue and energetic. They mess with nothing in my tank and are awesome. My suspicion, though, is that they would fight with your chromis. Too similar in behavior.

I know, its a damsel. But, I've had this one for 5 years. It is still only ~2", still very blue. It can be a bit of a pain when adding a new fish it's size, but otherwise is harmless enough.

You could try Chromis scotti... LADD sells trios every so often. Peaceful and pretty.

Or maybe 2-3 Blue Dartfish?

Starki damsels are mild tempered and beautiful.

+1 mine is a model citizen, would highly recomend them as an active colourful species.

Was at the store today and saw one lone blue reef chromis? Lol when looking at it further, it doesn't seem to be that. In fact I believe it is a neon damsel.

Very close to the untrained eye. Anyway, it was there by itself as though it was meant to be.lol Nice fish though. Anyone have experience with them? Thanks

Dang, was just reading about them. Looks like a mistake, very aggressive. I thought I was buying the blue reef chromis( didn't have my glasses). Guess the young fellow didn't know. Oh well.

Yup. See above. Mine are very tame, but they chase each other a bit. Might chase chromis too.
