Looking into DOC skimmer.

I am looking at possibly adding a 9010 DOC skimmer to my 150 mixed reef with semi-heavy bioload. Can my system do well with this skimmer?

Can you give me a list of inhabitants? I think it should be OK but it depends on how you define semi heavy bio load.

Hippo tang, mimic tang, foxface, purple tang, diamond goby, lubbocks wrasse, 4 anthias.

And the corals? Soft, LPS, SPS? The fish load sounds fine but not if the tank is heavy on SPS too.

Perdomantly softies, clams and LPS. Just want to do abot 5-7 real nice SPS close to the top rock work.

It should be OK, just keep in mind many acros will not hold there brightest colors as the nutrient load will be a bit higher than they like. That is a tough balance as a stronger skimmer may cause the LPS to suffer depending on which types and your feeding.
