Hey Roger,
My wavebox has been acting up. Everytime I use it, the alarm sounds. To rectify the problem, first I took out the pump and soaked it in vinegar. I then placed it back into the tank still finding that the alarm sounds. I pulled out the pump and examined the propeller.
The bearing disc will not firmly click onto the drive shaft. There are no missing or cracked plastic pieces and the flanges are intact. Do you have any ideas about why the alarm sounds? Is it because the bearing disc is not mounted well on the drive shaft during the operation of the wave box?
I have pushed the flanges out slightly to try to get a better purchase onto the drive shaft. It seems a little more snug. Any ideas? I'd post pictures, but I don't think that it will help you.
