My glass 125G has been setup for 3 years. Last night I noticed drips and salt creep forming underneath one of the bulkhead fittings. I discovered I could tighten the bulkhead nut 1/4 turn by hand. I checked the other 3 bulkhead fittings and found each of them could be tightened 1/8 - 1/4 turn each. Is this something people check periodically? It's now part of my monthly maintenance routine.

Probably not but should be looked at occasionally.
They have been installed for 3 years, since the initial setup of the tank. Part of the reason I brought this up is I have never seen this mentioned as part of regular tank maintenance. I've been in the hobby for 20 years but this is the first internal overflow I've had. It would be wise for others to check this on a regular basis I think.
