losing my crocea clam

Hi there - it's a little ironic that I just started posting again yesterday and today I have this bad news :(

Good news: My RBTA split a few weeks ago and both are doing great!

Bad news: Nemmy Jr. is shading my purple crocea clam and I think it's definitely a goner :(

The clam seemed to be doing fine until yesterday when it looked a bit fussed. Then when I looked at my tank just now it looks like this:

Is there anything I should look out for as a possible danger to anything else in the tank? The clam had been pestered by the RBTA before it split. This went on about 4 days after which I moved the RBTA and the clam looked happy again - maybe it hadn't recovered from that completely and was feeling a little vulnerable?
Feel pretty bad about this.......

Thanks Gary :)
I do try to be strict, but the whining when I put them in time-out - just can't bare it!

No one has any miraculous bring-my-clam-back-from-the-deathbed-cures??

Sushi for the pistol shrimp.
I moved it to the sand bed for a few hours so the shrimp could have a go at it, then removed it from the tank. I don't think my system (or my clean-up crew!) is big enough to clean it up. Sad - does anyone ever keep the shells to use in the reef later? How would I clean/prepare this? I thought it might be nice to keep it. Does anyone save the meat for later feedings? I'm sure my anemones would enjoy the treat.
Okay - now I feel weird..... (time to chant to myself circle-of-life, circle-of-life, circle-of-life)
