Lost power sps sticking out of tank

I recently lost power due to the big storm in the Northeast and I'm only running my 2 mp40s. Because I'm not running my sump, my tank level is down about 3" and I have a green Bali slimer that is about 9" x 9" altogether and it's sticking out of the tank by about half an inch to an inch in two spots. Will that be a problem?

You might lose the tips, but I wouldn't sweat it - if you do, just use bone cutters to nip the dead tips off and it will quickly grow back, that stuff grows like a weed. Hang in there, stay safe!

It might be okay. Think if it as a low tide...But yea if the tips do die I would just nip off the tips and they will heal fast. Good luck

cover up the hole for the overflow and add some water in there, that might be a good idea, stay safe with the storm.

Those tips sticking out won't be a problem. You can splash a little water on them if you have nothing but time. Cut em and they will grow back in no time.

I'd be more concerned with your water temp, having no power to your heater.
