S.L.A.S.H. members, another thing to think about when we are viewing all these tanks will be the Neptune Systems Marine Aquarium Hobbyist of the Year (MAHY) award. This award is in its 4th year and Neptune has hinted that it will be awarded at MACNA in Las Vegas again for 2018. As a member of the Marine Aquarium Society of North America (MASNA) SLASH is allowed to submit one entry from our club members to this contest. The only current Neptune qualifications are that the entry must be a member of the club for at least one year (another reason to join SLASH now) and must currently own and maintain a marine aquarium of any size. The SLASH BOD may choose to add to these qualifications for our own nomination but, we can talk about that when it gets closer to selection time.
Previous winners have been given:
1. airfare to MACNA
2. hotel accommodations
3. full ticket to MACNA (3 days)
4. $500 in new gear of your choice from Neptune Systems!

Wow!!! I don't think we've ever had this many events scheduled at one time before. Awesome job! I'm sad I'm going to miss them all but I think another swim with a manta ray will help me get over it!

I have a dive trip at the end of next month. It won't bother me that much. I have my once a year fix coming.
Unfortunately, I'm not allowed to carry a camera while leading dive groups but yeah it happened an it was amazing. Dove in rush hour dolphin traffic a couple weeks back as well. I'm still waiting for my first under water whale sighting. Today could be the day!

I've been diving here before from Coxen Hole to Isla de Morat.
Best diving I have done. So this time my parents and wife are coming too.
Awesome, Beth and I did 10 days in Roatan several years ago but I don't think we dove any further east than Mary's Place. Have you been to Bonaire yet?
