Lots of long banded worms?

Recently I have noticed quite a few long worm looking creatures in my tank. They are very skinny and about 4"-5" in length. They have small black bands every 1/4" or so and the rest is a light purple to almost white color. I tried to get a good picture but since they are not much thicker than a piece of hair it is difficult. Any suggestions or ideas on what these might be?

Sounds like the feeding tentacles of a spaghetti worms.

Thanks graveyardworm, that has to be what is in my tank. They look almost identical from the picture. Although mine are banded rather than plain white or orange from what I saw in the pictures.

I didn't find it in the article but are these safe with my corals or should I try and remove them?

Some do have the bands you describe I just couldnt find a good pic for you. They are safe and beneficial. Just wish I had some.
