I mixed up my first batch a couple days ago and its great. I tested everything after only a couple hours of being mixed and everything was perfect. Cal-450, Ph-8.2, MAG-1340, and Alk-12.2. Checked my tanks perams a few hours after the water change and everything was spot on Alk-9.4, Ph-8.2, calcium 420. And most important of course.....NO DIATOMS! Anyone looking for a good mix should definately try this one! Also, Marine Depot dosen't charge for overweight shipping.

its good stuff but i have seen people who use sea water or cheap salt have side effects when switchin to this salt... i will look for the thread..... i liked the salt when we tried it.... im just really stuck on the esv salt right now....

Ok, seriously, who runs their sps tank with an alk of 12?!?

And considering, imho, many tanks have chronically low alk, I would think this would be a recipe for burning tips on water changes. Yeah yeah sure, if one only changes 10%, probably not an issue, but why would you want an alk of 12 straight out of the salt bucket?
