Low flow on 6200

I recently placed 8 x 6200 streams on a single multicontroller. I have the little wheels dialed on 100% power and pulse. Nothing else for now. I must say I am disappointed at the flow I am getting. For the money these things cost and for as big as they are compared to anything similar I frankly expected a lot more flow. I noticed there is a + - little screw on the boxes for the tunzes. Could it be that they are not turned all the way up? What is that for anyway? Anything to check to make sure they are working as good as they can and with as much flow as possible?

On a positive note, I did drop my 4 x5800 gph sequence pumps. As a result, my chiller hardly ever comes on now and I expect to see a considerable drop in my electric bill too.

You definatley want to make sure all the drivers are set to 100% via that little screw. It states this in the manual, so turn those screws all the way to the +.

I agree. I thought they would be making my tank into a blender. I have 2 plus 1 6100, and I still have dead spots.

Definitely turn the dial all the way to the right.

I want to follow you in this thread. I just spent the cash for the 6200 x 2 Kit for a 300 gallon cube (4ft x4ft by 30.5 plus inches tall). I think we feel the same way, Flow promotes growth of corals.

They definitely produce the rated flow, I think the misperception is the flow is so low pressure that it doesn't seem like the same 5200 gph coming from a 1.5" nozzle off a return pump.

Make sure that screw is turned up on the silver driver box.... if that is turned down it will effect the flow as if you were turning them down on the controller
