LTA or BTA?

Since mainly softies, I'd keep flow like 30-40x and keep LTA, JMO.
I would try to get down to sand, and give it a protected shallow cavy space so it could pop in out.
I'd also point spray bars down so no dead spots behind rock, or at surface, more than hitting all at top of rock. Again, JMO, still looks great.

davocean, you mentioned running carbon, the uptake tube above the yellow tang in that picture is the uptake for a h.o.t. magnum250 canister filter with carbon. The canister was added when I discovered I had 2 nems instead of one. I have an asm g1 skimmer in the sump.

I'd remove any filter media/sponge, and just run carbon in that.

Good advice and I also agree with the spray bars pointing down instead of horizontally.
