How could frozen PE Mysis harm an anemone? Am I missing something obvious?

I'm so sorry for your loss. After reading this thread, I will NEVER feed my GBTA or Mini silversides. Frozen uncooked shrimp it is.

Possibly a bad batch of Mysis, either from the supplier, or the store. Could have thawed at the store and they refroze it instead of tossing. Several possibilities for it to have gone bad.

The world revolves around money. A sad truth. Who would throw out "money" at a LFS? There's no consequence for a pet shop when they kill your livestock. Now, a grocery store making dozens of people sick is a different story!

Minh, where do you get yours at?

All my Nems got sick from PE Mysis from Petco.

I'm done...time to get table shrimp, scallops, etc..

I got mine at the frozen sea food section at HEB. I saw some at Costco also but the one at Costco have imitation crab, which is "crab" so I did not get it.
Mine have shrimps, scallop, octopus, fish, and mussel in it. Less than 3 dollars a pound. My anemones just eat up a storm.
